1911 Restaurant at the Terrace Inn

The 1911 Restaurant is located inside the Terrace Inn, a Historic Landmark in Bay View, Petoskey. The Inn has operated as a hotel and restaurant since 1911. While Bay View closes November through May, the Inn and restaurant remain open to the public for lodging and dining. Our top rated chefs create seasonal menus utilizing locally-caught whitefish and walleye, plath's local butchery for steaks and chops cooked to perfection, farm market vegetables as available and high quality ingredients. Our restaurant receives rave reviews for service, presentation, taste, and overall atmosphere. Indoor dining in our elegant dining room is year round, and the covered terrace is open as weather permits; heaters and plexiglass panels are added to extend the summer and welcome spring dining. Guests love the views of our gardens, bay, and colorful Victorian cottages surrounding the Inn. The menu is 3 course including salad/soup, entree/sides and dessert, average price is $45 per person. We also have an ala carte is an option for those with a lighter appetite. Summer hours are Tuesday through Saturday evenings, and Fall and Winter are Wednesday through Saturday. We close for maintenance and host private events, so always make a reservation in advance or check hours to make sure you get a table! Happy Hour is 1/2 off appetizers (except crab or seafood). Happy Hour is 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Dinner is 5:00 pm or 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm or 9:00 p.m. Try our spinach artichoke dip and toasted pita bread it's amazing!
